See, everyone had dreamt about being a president, just a random thought on a random day. You don't even have to ask why, prestige and power sums it all up. But if I were given the chance, I sure as hell wouldn't waste it.
If I were the president, the first thing I'd do is jump on my royally fluffy bed. What? IT'S FUN! I've always imagined jumping on the covers, how soft it would me, how jumping on it would actually feel. I bet it's heavenly. Then I'd do other things the president fails to do, like save the nation from poverty, of course. I'll try my best at that while enjoying other things the president may or may not appreciate. Like the uber large showers and Jacuzzis, presidential cuisine, private jets, a mansion, free toll fee and avoiding traffic, now isn't that privilege enough? But it's not all about privileges isn't it? There're problems that the president has to face, so I'll take the joy with the pain. I'd still attend charities and sit in my office figuring out how to save the world (well, the country mostly.), I'd inspect for traces of corruption and stop it, I'd establish a job fair for those stripped of the chance to go to college, I'd give away medicines to the poor and add more privileges for the elderly and specially-abled. Like a cool president, I'd have a twitter, a tumblr, and a facebook account so people would understand what it is to be a president (of course I'd make sure it's unhackable) I'd help stop prostitution, underage labor, drug addiction and abortion. I'd build school, churches and hospitals in rural areas. I'd enjoy my privileges and still do my job without stealing or doing wrong to my people. I will set a good example to the nation's citizens--facing my problems while still enjoying life.
'Cause that's how everyone should live, president or not. We should never give up on problems, they'll never go away. Problems are always there, but a chance at life? It passes only once so let's enjoy it and life to the fullest. Let's tell the people we love how we feel while we still have a chance and forgive those who hurt us like the Father forgives. Leave neither grudges nor regrets, just be happy and hold on to God. People these days, take their time, their lives, for granted so when their time comes, they have so many unspoken resentment and hidden feelings. But if I were the president? I'll make sure the same rules apply to me.
